Behind the work
Background:
I have always been interested in art. As a kid, you could usually find me tracing characters from shows I loved to understand how they were drawn, or stapling pieces of paper together so I could create my own little novels. I was inseparable from art then, and I still am today.
As the world moved further into the digital age, so did I. I attended college where I discovered graphic design and began working on campus creating designs for several different entities, including The Port Grille and STACKS. These experiences became the foundation of how I began to understand the power of visual communication and how design can shape the way people understand ideas.
Over time, my skills have expanded across illustration (both traditional and digital), graphic design, and digital media as a whole. I enjoy exploring different creative approaches and adapting my style depending on the needs of each project, always aiming to balance creativity with clear and effective communication.
Much of my work focuses on creating strong visual identities, marketing materials, and illustrations that both support a design and stand confidently on their own. This allows me to approach each project with both creative thinking and thoughtful design decisions.

Design Approach
Every project begins with understanding the goal and the audience behind the design.
I approach each project by researching the subject, exploring ideas through sketches, and experimenting with visual concepts before refining them into a final design. My goal is to create work that is not only visually engaging, but also communicates its message clearly and effectively.
